News Bowl provides two products for teachers:

1. Online Current Events League. View a league brochure at the top of the home page. The league is open to grades 3 through high school students. For this product, students log on to the web site and take a multiple choice current events assessment exam at the end of six different months of the school year. National rankings are posted and the goal is for students to reach a passing score. Teachers may use the league for classroom grading purposes!

2. Weekly current events quiz game. View a sample game at the top of the home page. This fun learning product is similar to TV jeopardy. The teachers get a user code and print off the weekly game from the News Bowl web site every Monday morning. The quiz game is used by teachers in the classroom with the class divided in small groups for fun competition. Teachers read the questions to the groups and points are scored. Many "game rules" are found at home page. A bonus product with a school building subscription is a fun PowerPoint game.
